Bangladesh faces severe climate risks floods, cyclones, erosion, and salinity that disproportionately affect marginalized communities in Chars, Haors, and Coastal areas.
For 24 years, UPAMA has implemented locally owned, integrated solutions in climate resilience, livelihoods, education, governance, and disaster risk reduction, aligned with the Bangladesh National Adaptation Plan (NAP). Key interventions include community-based adaptation, climate-resilient livelihoods, early warning and disaster preparedness, climate-responsive governance, and gender-inclusive strategies. We ensure transparency, robust MEAL systems, and compliance with national and donor standards, bridging local action with national climate policy.
We invite partners committed to climate justice, resilient livelihoods, inclusive education, and strengthened local governance.
